Celebrate or memorialize your favorite pet. Choose to have only fiber, polymer clay or a mixed media portrait.
To order:
Send a photo you love of your pet to deidredalzell@gmail.com.
Photo requirements: clear image, pet is the main focus (fills the frame) and shows the pose/expression you want recreated.
I use your photo as the direct reference—please choose one that best captures the personality and look you want in the portrait. If you have questions about whether a photo will work, send it and I’ll let you know.

Do you have a favorite place you’ve been that you’d like to have captured in fiber art? I ask that you send (deidredalzell@gmail.com) a clear photo of the place you want recreated and tell me what you love about it—whether it’s the light at a certain hour, a particular color palette, a memorable detail like a weathered fence or a favorite tree, or the way the landscape makes you feel. Clear, high-resolution images with good contrast and minimal blur give me the best reference to translate textures, colors, and mood into fiber, and your description helps prioritize which elements to emphasize in the finished piece.

Wildlife portraits and plant artwork are perfect for nurseries, children’s rooms, daycare centers, nature preserves—really anywhere you want a gentle, nature-inspired touch. I create rabbits, birds, mushrooms, fairy trees, and more; tell me what you’d like, which colors you prefer, and whether you have a reference photo of a specific animal or plant. If you don’t have a photo (or if you do, send to deidredalzell@gmail.com), describe notable features (pose, markings, size, mood) and I’ll work from that.
