Geodes I
Geodes I draws inspiration from the hidden landscapes found inside stone—where ordinary surfaces give way to unexpected color, pattern, and crystalline form.
Layers of needle-felted wool radiate outward in irregular bands, mimicking the organic growth of a geode while allowing the fibers to create their own variations in texture and shape. Rich shifts in color and contrasting details give the piece a sense of depth, as though revealing a cross-section of something formed slowly beneath the earth.
Both abstract and geological, Geodes I is a study in repetition, texture, and the beautiful unpredictability of natural forms.
Original, needle-felted fiber artwork. One of a kind.
